Deendayal Antyodaya Upchar Yojna

Benefit of Deendayal Antyodaya Upchar Yojna started in the state to make available medical facilities to BPL families has been extended to 37 lakh 22 thousand 273 persons so far. Antyodaya Upchar Yojna is under implementation in the state since the year 2004. Under the scheme, quality and free treatment facilities are made available to BPL families belonging to scheduled castes and scheduled tribes. As many as 14 thousand 365 persons availed benefit of the scheme from September 2004 to March 2005 and 19 thousand 110 persons in the year 2005-06.

On the orders of the State Government in the year 2006, treatment facilities under Deendayal Antyodaya Upchar Yojna are being made available to BPL families of all the categories. In all, 2 lakh 68 thousand 41 persons availed benefit of the scheme in the year 2006-07, five lakh 89 thousand 603 persons in the year 2007-08, five lakh 89 thousand 603 persons in the year 2008-09, six lakh 29 thousand 458 persons in the year 2009-10, ten lakh 88 thousand 890 persons in the year 2010-11 while about 5 lakh persons have availed benefit of Deendayal Antyodaya Upchar Yojna from December 2011 to October 2012.
